Albert Bandura is one of the most influential psychologists in the 20th century. The BoBo doll experiment is a landmark experiment constructed by Bandura’s theory. Four studies on the “Bandura’s experiment” had reported not only reveals the process of Bandura’s gradual focus from specific themes to overall theoretical construction, but the research results also revealed some “invisible things”. Therefore, careful and in-depth analysis of the “BoBo doll experiment” will not only help us gain a deeper understanding of the evolution and construction process of social learning theory, but also enable us to better understand how it promotes psychology from behaviorism to transform of cognitivism. Finally, the “BoBo doll experiment” as an experimental paradigm and a symbolic had signed that psychology research affects social reality has extremely important historical significance in the history of psychology.

Bandura is a representative of the third generation of behaviorism. Unlike traditional behaviorism, which regarded people as machines or animals, he emphasized human subjectivity and agency. Based on the five abilities that people possess, he constructed a social cognitive theory. Today, Bandura,s thoughts are still of great significance for psychologists to establish discipline identity by thinking about basic issues such as psychological ontology presuppositions.

Based on the theory of the mathematical principle of psychology, this paper reviewed the contribution of psychologist Bandura from the learning content, learning process, learning influencing factors, learning core function and learning results: He discovered the “observational learning” baby doll experiment, which constituted a complete set of “learning” experiment together with the behavioral animal experiment; He constructed phenomenology of learning: the cognitive process of learning and observation of learning materials (social learning theory), the evaluation of self-evaluation feedback in the learning process (self-efficacy theory, self-regulation theory), the interaction between learners and the physical world (determinism theory). This paper is intended to honor Mr. Bandura,s discovery.

Three experiments were conducted to investigate whether the temporal regularity of change in a skilled multistep task could be used as a metacognitive cue. Experiment 1 was a single factor design (time regularity of change: time regularity of increasing change, time regularity of decreasing change, no time regularity); Experiment 2 added a faster time regularity of increasing change group to further explore whether time regularity of change as a metacognitive cue depends on the recognition of actual errors. Experiment 3 compared the effectiveness of time regularity of change and consistent time regularity as metacognitive cues. The results showed that confidence judgment in time regularity of change was significantly higher than that in no time regularity. Accuracy in time regularity of increasing change was significantly higher than that in time regularity of decreasing change and no time regularity. Faster time regularity of increasing change appeared to separate confidence judgments from accuracy. Time regularity of increasing change had the highest confidence judgment and accuracy, followed by consistent time regularity, and time regularity of decreasing change was the worst. We believe that time regularity of change can be used as a metacognitive cue, and time regularity of increasing change can be used as a metacognitive cue better than consistent time regularity and time regularity of decreasing change.

Language is the core medium of communication. The process of language communication is a multi-modal cognitive process. One of the important factors is the personality characteristics of communicators. Based on this, the study established three cognitive style conditions, and used the communication paradigm to explore the influence of cognitive style on the language accuracy of communicative learning by creating communication learning task and individual task. The results showed that: 1) The language accuracy of field independent communicators was lower; With the development of the process of communication the use of nonverbal cues by communicators was deepening, and it led to a significant reduction in the level of language cognitive processing. The field independent communicators made the earliest use of nonverbal cues. 2) The language accuracy of field independent communicators was lower than that of field dependence, but there was no difference in the cognitive accuracy, and the accuracy of communication cognition was higher than that of language cognition. The results suggested that: Communication cognition is reflected in the interaction process of language cognition and nonverbal cognition; Field independent communicator has lower language cognitive level, but nonverbal cognitive level is higher.

In order to explore the impact of career plateau on emotional exhaustion and work-family conflict, 335 civil servants were surveyed using the Career Plateau Questionnaire, the Emotional Exhaustion Questionnaire, the Work-Family Conflict Questionnaire and the Psychological Detachment Questionnaire. The results showed that career plateau and work-family conflict were significantly and positively related; Emotional exhaustion partially mediated the relationship between career plateau and work-family conflict; Psychological detachment moderated the relationship between career plateau and emotional exhaustion, and moderated the mediating effect of career plateau on work-family conflict through emotional exhaustion.

In order to study the impact of salary equity perception on the retention intention of public-interest kindergarten teachers and the moderating effect of opportunity equity perception in it, the salary equity perception scale, salary satisfaction scale, opportunity equity perception scale and retention intention scale were used to conduct a questionnaire survey among 1656 public-interest kindergarten teachers. The results showed that: (1) The salary equity perception positively predicted retention intention. (2) Salary satisfaction partially played an intermediary role between salary equity perception and retention intention. (3) Opportunity equity perception could adjust the impact of pay satisfaction on retention intention. The higher level of opportunity equity perception, the stronger retention intention of public-interest kindergarten teachers. The results showed that creating a fair and friendly working environment was of great practical significance for stabilizing the public-interest kindergarten teachers and improving the quality of education.

A total of 372 college students were randomly selected as the research objects. The questionnaire method was used to investigate the relationship between family income and college students’ mental health, and to explore the role of self-concept and self-esteem in it. The results showed that: (1) Family income was significantly positively correlated with the mental health status of college students, and self-concept played a partial mediating role in the relationship; (2) Collective self-esteem regulated the relationship between family income and college students’ mental health. The mental health of college students with low collective self-esteem were more likely to be affected by family income. The results showed that improving the collective self-esteem of low-income college students could effectively improve their mental health.

To investigate the relationship between purpose in life and resilience, and the mediating effects of self-control and general self-efficacy in the relationship, college students from 3 universities in a city were selected as subjects, and the Purpose in Life Test(PIL), Brief Self-Control Scale(BSCS), General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES), and Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)were administered to all subjects, the data were analyzed. Results showed that:(1)There was a significant positive correlation among the four variables.(2) Purpose in Life had a positive predictive effect on Resilience.(3)Purpose in life affected resilience through the parallel mediating effects of self-control and general self-efficacy. Besides, Purpose in life had an effect on resilience through the serial mediating effect of self-control and general self-efficacy. The results indicated that purpose in life is a good protective factor for resilience, high sense of purpose in Life promotes mental resilience through better self-control and higher self-efficacy.

To explore the latent classes of narcissism among college students and analyze the antecedents of the potential categories of narcissism and the double-edged sword effect on college students' behavior. A sample of 1042 college students was recruited to complete Narcissistic Personality Inventory (NPI), Chinese College Students version of Buss-Perry aggression questionnaire (CC-BPAQ), and Utrecht Work Engagement Scale-Student (UWES-S). We conducted multinomial logistic regression to analyze the relationship between demographic variables and the profiles of narcissism. Further, we used the BCH method to examine dual influences of different latent profiles of narcissism on the behavior. The results showed that: (1) Three latent classes were supported, including low narcissism (22.5%), moderate narcissism (50.9%), and high narcissism (26.6%). (2) The male and urban college students were more narcissistic than female and rural college students, respectively. (3) The effects of different profiles of narcissism on aggressive behavior and learning engagement were significant. The research results reveal that there are different potential types of narcissism among college students, and they have both positive and negative effects on their behavior.
