摘要身份现象是一种表征个体独特存在于社会情景中的方式,反映了个体间的社会联结。在不同的社会情景中,个体会拥有不同的身份。这种不同身份的转换引发了个体对身份期望的知觉,进而影响着相应身份的行为举止。鉴于此,本研究通过3个实验试图探究大学生在不同情境中的身份期望及其如何影响行为选择。实验1采用2(身份类别:象征性vs具体性)×2(学业表现:较好 vs 较差)的被试内实验设计,探讨了大学生的学业表现是否影响着身份期望;实验2采用2(身份类别:象征性 vs具体性)×2(工作表现:较好 vs 较差)×2(人际关系:融洽vs淡漠)的被试内实验设计,探讨了大学生的工作表现与人际关系如何相互作用影响身份期望;实验3采用3(威望:较低vs一般vs较高)×3(职称:讲师vs副教授vs教授)的被试内实验设计,探讨了大学生的身份期望如何影响行为选择。结果显示:大学生的学业/工作表现与人际关系影响着身份期望;相比具体性身份,大学生更期望象征性身份并且象征性身份更大程度地影响着行为选择。这些结果表明:在不同社会情境中,中国大学生拥有不同的身份期望,这些身份期望影响着大学生的行为选择。
