Abstract Emotional socialization is an important process of children's social development, which is manifested in interpersonal communication and social behavior. Previous researches have proposed two models of children’s emotional socialization: (1) the theoretical model of emotional socialization of family process, (2) the theoretical model of emotional socialization of school process. This paper summarized the theoretical logic and potential influencing factors of emotional socialization from family to school. In the future, more domestic Chinese samples should be conducted for further study. In addition, the research on mechanism and model of emotional socialization process should be expanded, and then put into application of family rearing and school education, so as to promote children’s positive socialization.
