Abstract Spatial reference frame refers to the way that individuals represent spatial orientation. Specifically, it can be divided into two types: Egocentric reference frame and allocentric reference frame. Using these two different spatial reference frames can better represent spatial orientation in different spatial positions. There was mutual influence between egocentric (EGO) reference frame and allocentric (ALLO) reference frame. However, in the interaction between the two, whether the influence of EGO reference on the representation of ALLO reference was stable was still controversial. In order to investigate whether the influence of EGO reference on ALLO representation was determined by the degree of EGO representation. In Experiment 1, the conflict paradigm of EGO reference and ALLO reference was used to explore the influence of EGO reference on the representation of ALLO reference in far and near spaces. The results showed that the conflict between EGO reference and ALLO reference in the near space was greater than that in the far space in the left visual field. Since the stimulus response compatibility (SRC) can affect the response of the participants. In Experiment 2,the participants were asked to use their left hand to respond. The purpose of Experiment 2 was to investigate whether the visual field difference caused by the influence of EGO reference on ALLO reference representation was caused by SRC. The results showed that the conflict between EGO reference and ALLO reference in near space was greater than that in far space. The results indicated that the degree of EGO representation was an important factor of whether EGO reference affects ALLO reference representation, and the influence of EGO representation was affected by SRC.
