Abstract A convenience sampling survey was conducted on 200 employees from 6 manufacturing enterprises by means of a questionnaire survey in this study. Based on a latent variable mediation model, current study investigated the relationship among employees' perception of corporate social responsibility, counterproductive work behavior, and organizational trust. The results showed that employees' perceived corporate social responsibility negatively impacted counterproductive work behavior, and organizational trust played a complete mediating role. Research was enriched while dividing the two dimensions of organizational trust, as the trust toward organization itself presented a more significant impact than the trust toward direct leaders within current model. Management should pay attention to the establishment and maintenance of organizational trust while undertaking social responsibilities, so as to reduce the adverse impact of employees' counterproductive behavior on the organization. Future research can further focus on multi-level effect testing and multi-angle variable measurement.
